Search for materials at Japan Foundation libraries in Japan

Full members of our library can also access materials from Japan Foundation libraries in Japan, using the following services:

  • Photocopying service – You can request photocopies of materials to be sent to your address. You must pay for the photocopies (10p per A4 page) and postage within the UK. Please note this service is dependent upon Japanese copyright laws and it may not be possible to photocopy all the items you request.
  • Reference service – You can request materials to be sent to our library in London, where you can then access them as reference materials for a limited time. However, you will not be able to take these books out of our library in London.

For more details about either of these services, please contact the librarian. To search for materials at these libraries, go to OPAC.
