力-CHIKARA Workshops

The Japan Foundation London Language Centre ran a series of free workshops throughout 2009-10, aimed at teachers of GCSE Japanese. The workshops focussed on the CHIKARA Resources for GCSE Japanese, which were created by the Japan Foundation in 2008, with generous support from the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation.

The aims of these workshops were to help you improve your skills in making new resources to match a particular syllabus, and to give you an insight into how the GCSE in Japanese is changing.

Applications are now open for the next CHIKARA workshop, which will be held on 24th May and 4th June. Click here for further information and an application form.

Part 1 of the CHIKARA Update series was a two-day workshop, held on 28th - 29th May 2009.
Part 2 was a half-day workshop, held on 27th and 28th October 2009.
Part 3 was held on 18th and 19th February 2010.
Part 4 was held on 24th May and 4th June 2010.
Part 5 was held on 27th October and Monday 8th November
