What is the Japan Foundation London Language Centre?


The Japan Foundation London Language Centre (JFLLC) is the branch of the Japan Foundation which supports the teaching of Japanese throughout the UK (please click here to find out about Japanese arts and Japanese Studies). The JFLLC was opened in 1997 and was the first language centre to be set up by the Japan Foundation in Europe. It plays a key role in promoting Japanese language education in the UK through its various activities;

Opening Hours: Monday- Friday 10:00- 13:00 and 14:00- 17:00 (excluding public holidays)
Please note that on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month the library is open from 2pm to 7pm, and on these days it is closed in the morning.

The London Language Centre is located on the north east side of Russell Square, next to the Post Office.

From Russell Square Tube: (Piccadilly Line): 2 minute walk.Car Parking is difficult in the immediate vicinity; through there is a car park just a few minutes walk away.
